LostAgain Posted February 18, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 18, 2016 I made reservations for Cirque for my March 6 sailing, and then read that there are different levels of seating, meaning better seats cost more. I have called NCL twice to upgrade my seating, and both times I have been told that there is only one level. Is that something new, or am I just not getting the right person, or what? momoftwinteens Posted February 18, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 18, 2016 Following. I am on the same cruise and noticed the exact same thing.
Rare BirdTravels Posted February 18, 2016 #3 Share Posted February 18, 2016 I think that there is a single price. Seating is first come first serve. The Havens guest will be seated first (through a back stage entrance). The hostess seats front-to-back. If you want good seats, have someone in line an hour before show time and your whole party there 45 minutes before show time (they will load about 30 minutes to show time). LostAgain Posted February 18, 2016 Author #4 Share Posted February 18, 2016 Wow, wouldn't have thought to get there quite so early, so I am glad I asked. Thanks!
C-line Posted February 20, 2016 #5 Share Posted February 20, 2016 I understood that the premium seats were the ones immediately beside the performers. There are two tables up there, on the opposite side of the stage from the rest of the seating. That's the way it used to be advertised as recently as last spring - I didn't pay much notice when we sailed at the end of January this year because we thought the regular seats were fine (and I would have felt like I was on display in the premium seats). We've been three times and every time we sit in one of the booths. I think we miss seeing up as high as those seated at the tables nearer the front, but we prefer the booths and I don't feel like it took anything away from the show. LostAgain Posted February 20, 2016 Author #6 Share Posted February 20, 2016 Thanks, C line. I must have read older posts that said the seats near the stage were one price, seats in the booths were less. We would prefer the seats closer to the stage, so maybe that's why they dropped the difference in price - it all worked out because some prefer one and some prefer the other.
