Does anyone know if Elua will be onboard?Loved there shows on our last cruise to Hawaii.

 

I don't think anyone will know for a while. I do know that David had said on our Hawaii cruise on the Ruby in January that they had requested to be on the Star on next season's Hawaii itinerary. Hope it works out for both you and them! :)

We do not know right now what our remaining 2016-17 schedule will be past October. We are scheduled to do the Star in late October, but after that, we do not know. We have requested the Star for the remainder of the season, but probably will not be confirmed or a little while yet.

 

As soon as we are informed, we will post here, and also on our FB page, which is http://www.facebook.com/eluamusic We have our fingers crossed and would love to see as many of our CC ohana on our cruises as possible.

We stayed there in January prior to our Hawaii cruise. Nice place, neighbor hood is definitely blue collar, but, we did not feel it was unsafe in any respect. Hotel was in good shape overall and rooms clean and well maintained. The staff was great. The general manager was fantastic and bent over backwards to make sure that we were happy (even brought out plates and cutlery for our pizza that we ordered out for). He also drove the shuttle to the port. Don't be fooled by the decor of the hotel. It looks like it was built in the 1930s, but, was actually built in the 1980s. It is not as nice as a couple of hotels that are closer to the pier, however, the price is way better and we would stay there again.

I am pulling for the Star! We are booked on the Dec 20th sailing. Looking forward to Christmas and New Years with EULA.

No, we will not be on the Star in April. We are due not he Star in the fall, but not for next month. I don't know who you will have, but I am sure there will be a couple. Princess has made a commitment to have a Hawaiian couple of every one of their Hawaiian cruises, so yours will not be different.

 

Whoever it is, I know you'll have a great time.

We are booked on the January 23rd cruise to Hawaii and we have reserved a room at this Best Western for two nights prior to the cruise as we are flying in on the 21st. It had good reviews on Travelocity. Maybe you can update between our cruises????

Mahalo for the update Dave...I see that Leialoha & you will be on the Hawaii cruises on the Star in 2016 & 2017 which is great news for those of us sailing to Hawaii. :D

Excited to be going to Hawaii Dec. 5. We have been twice on the Golden with Elua and hoping the Star will be as great! I'll have to review my ukelele chords! Carolyn and Bob from Chandler, AZ
