How is the Ramada in FLL?

North Federal Highway

I've driven by it and, if I remember correctly, it is an old fashion motel without a central hallway (each room has its own door opening to outside). The neighborhood is okay but it is on a very busy street (route 1). My concern would be that it is about 10 miles from the Port and a little further from the airport. If they don't have shuttles, a taxi would be in the $30 range each way.

The neighborhood is fine, near a few restaurants and a mall, low crime. Check recent reviews on Trip Advisor. This is not anywhere near the port or airport, and it only recently became Ramada, so you aren't going to find much info on CC.
