logging off device on Voom

Recommended Posts

stupid question here but I'd rather not have to figure it out while on cruise. How do you log your device out so that another device can be used on board? And is it easy to see how to set up your account when you get on board? We're going to buy the package ahead of time but wondering about how to set it up once on the ship. We're doing only 1 device in one room but 2 devices in another. Thank you!

Normally, there is a web page showing with a logout button you can press. However, if you don't have that, you can use your browser to go to logoff.com and that will disconnect you.

If you buy the package ahead of time, you will receive an access code with your SeaPass card.

Do a price comparison. It may be cheaper to buy a 4-device package. (I don't think that there is a 3-device option)

As Bob wrote, just type logoff.com into your browser window to get off the wifi.

If you buy on board, it is VERY easy to set up your account. If you buy before your cruise, Bob gave you the lowdown on that. Still easy to set up once on board. YOU create your own user ID; YOU create your own password.

Various discounts showed up before our cruise, including two devices for one, four for two, and 30% discount. In any case what counts is the number you have in use simultaneously. Just because you have three devices you don't have to buy coverage for all three. They claim they log you off after three hours of non-use but we didn't see that. In our case logging on to a new device logged us off the first one. I think others have reported you have to manually log off to the first.

Easiest way to log off was to disconnect from the network (on either the phone or PC wireless page).

That was the case with us on the Allure also, couple months ago. Or you could also manually log off, like others have said.

On our Vision cruise this past March, we could not log on when we reached the limit, we had to log off another device.

It’s 2021 and this logout info is still so useful but very hard to find. Just used it on Oasis if the Seas. Thank you!

very easy.

go to browser and type logout.com ( browser will point it to its webpage where you can log out)

to log back in you can type login.com (browser will point you back to webpage to log back in)

So simple to use.

Also if you try to login with your login and password, it will tell you a device is already logged in and you have the option to "sign out other device", so you can login. They have made it pretty easy to use multiple devices with 1 login account.

My family only needs a 2 device plan but we have two cabins.  Can we just purchase that or is it by cabin?

Any plan you purchase can be shared with anyone on the ship.
