Need Advice for Booking Princess Cruise

Recommended Posts

I recently booked 2 cabins on the Princess Regal Panama Canal cruise and upon browsing this site discovered a travel agent source for low fares. I requested a quote from Cruisequick.com and they were $1,200 less than going directly through Princess Cruises. My question is this:

Can I transfer my ressie with Princess over to Cruisequick, keeping my booked staterooms, and getting the lower rate? Any advice or shared experiences with this travel agent would be very much appreciated.

Thanks!

GREAT NEWS!

Yes you can, contact the TA with the booking number(s) and they can transfer the booking and then save you the money.

I haven't used that TA specifically but the information on the board is that they are ok.

If possible always do businesss with a TA that is both online and reachable by phone. There are a number of them online and the prices are all more or less the same, there is only so much room to discount appx. 15%.

Yes - you can switch to the TA of your choice. You may hear from others on Cruisequick. I believe I have read some negative postings in the past.

You will hear many great reports about Kim's Kruises. I have also used Cruise411 on a number of voyages with great success.

Zeroni,

I did exactly what you are talking about. I just got my docs from Cruisequick and they are perfect. You just fill out the "book this cruise" form that they sent with the quote and under notes "transfer booking XXXXX from Princess" and they do the rest. I have had good luck with them and their prices usually can't be beat.

Now that you have saved all that money you can afford to book a future cruise while aboard, also transferrable and you get shipboard credits to boot.
