Bon Voyage Sun Princess - 75 day Pacific Circle 2016 Cruise!!

Recommended Posts

It looks like there might have been another change in the itinerary for the Sun Princess, she is now heading to Busan, South Korea. Sun Princess was not meant to be heading there on this cruise....

Jo has updated...

So to keep in front from the effects of this weather system, our stay in Hong Kong was cut back to one day. We lost our day in Shanghai and our visit to Incheon was brought forward. We are having an overnight stay in Beijing. Jeju is out and Busan is in!! After that all is back to normal.

Looks like the "Mystery Tour" continues. Just checked the bridge cam and they where at an Island. Checked AIS and they were at Jeju, supposed to be on the way to Busan......

Mystery Cruise indeed!

I wonder why "jeju" was out and "Busan" was in, when the ports are so close? And now "Jeju" is back in? Not a good time for private tours for passengers.

Indeed, it is the Pacific 75 day cruise to nowhere !! All part of the adventure.

Great blogs and pics coming from Garry and Joanne.

Yes great pics from Gary and Jo

Just checked again and they are now underway to Busan again. I wondered about the time they called in there, would have been late morning.....I am now thinking ...Medical drop off???

Trust all is well.

Perhaps they had to re stock with the local brew, all those thirsty Aussies on board.!!

Yes, great pictures and blog from Gary and Jo. They always seem to have a great time, despite the hiccups along the way.

Happy Birthday, Gary from CC. Maybe Jo needs to celebrate a half birthday, so she can have a birthday on board.

I remember being impressed at Expo how vibrant and colourful the Korean's national dress was.

Good recommendation for the Travel Company, in Shanghai, which promptly refunded their unused tour costs.

From the cams it looks like they have had rain all day.

Does it ever stop raining in Asia?

When is the best time to visit there?

When its not raining, which is never.

But at least the rain, cools you down and washes some sweat off.

Then you can glorify in the steaming humidity again until the next storm.:)

Well that's bangkok region anyway.

Dry season is the short answer.

But as an Asian cruise generally visits both the equatorial countries and the countries further north this is what makes it tricky with the weather.

Apart from packetau blog, has anyone else found any other blog's from this cruise??
