Hong Kong Light Show from Kai Tak Cruise Terminal

I know that there are better places to view the light show - and we will probably take the Star Ferry one night while we are in Hong Kong; but can anyone comment on the view - if any - of the Hong Kong light show from the ship's berth at the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal?

Thanks

Larry

You can also take a Symphony of Lights Harbour cruise and that is another way to see the lights. the cruise costs about $51 US and includes free drinks and a snack.

But if you are going to stand on land you need to be in Kowloon just as soon as you get off the Star Ferry walk to the right and you will see people waiting to see the light show.

It's easy to tell the tourists from locals each evening outside Ocean Terminal & all along the waterfront ... those staring at the harbor and checking their watches or smartphones are obvious, LOL.

There are a dozen+ of YT videos about the laser light show, it's really not a big deal, cast/stream that on big screen HDTV & turn on Dolby+ surround sound - pick one that has the audio/music links ... easy, now - got extra time to do other sightseeing things while visiting HK.

But, from the KTCT vantage point, you would need telephoto zoom lens and high-power binoculars to really watch the show and at that distance & angled view, not going to be a good one - if the weather is good with clear view.
