Breakaway from NYC - how early can we arrive/what pier

Hi there

How early can we arrive to the pier and what pier does the ship dock at?

The Breakaway docks at Pier 88, right at W48th. We usually arrive 10:30 or so and are onboard by noon,

NCL has started staggered check-in time for most BA pax out of MCT (Manhattan Cruise Terminal) at Pier 88 (12th Avenue & W. 55th Street for vehicles & W. 48th Street for walk-up at street level/alternate dropoffs across the street) ... unless you are sailing in Haven, VIP, CAS or other special needs, etc. as you will have specific advice/details/instructions, etc.

 

Of course, you are free to arrive as early as 8 AM as porters will be outside and take your tagged, checked luggage. Check-in lines do not open until 9:30 even if the early birds get thru security screening earlier. Typically, boarding begins around 11 AM for the above "privileged" groups and 11:30 AM by group/zone # (a card will be issued to each party/stateroom as part of the check-in process)
