Swimming Pool on Viking Sea

Yes, bring your bathing suit. We just returned from Norway on Viking Sea and while it isn't the Med in late fall, it was chilly enough outside that the pool roof was closed most of the time during our two weeks on board and the space was well-used throughout the cruise. The space is heated and was quite comfortable for lounging and for swimming.

Also, there are three hot tubs on board --one outside at the infinity pool, one at the main pool, and one (or is it more) in the Spa, which is open to all passengers.

Does anyone know if the pool is enclosed during cooler weather? We're travelling during November/December 2016 and I was hoping to be able to swim on sea days (we have three).

Mostly enclosed but on the day we we in Monte Carlo this past January the weather was mild enough and sunny enough that the roof was opened up. It was so pretty in the solarium that day!
