We did the northbound Valpo to FLL. You're only in Lima for the day, so don't think that Machu Pichu is doable.

The one I'm looking at (nov 23) is Lima for two days and they offer an excursion where you meet the ship back at the next port of pisco

Our first X cruise was on Infinity from FLL to Valpo.

 

Fantastic cruise.

On our cruise, the Machu Picchu extension was more than the cost of the cruise and you lost time on the basic cruise.

 

I suggest that doing MP is best done independently. I found a great deal from our Lima tour company.
