redcruzer Posted January 1, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 1, 2017 (edited) So I booked a cruise yesterday taking advantage of the $50/person deposit. I changed my mind tonight and decided on a different NCL cruise. I called up to change the cruise, and they are closed. They aren't open until Monday. The sale will be over by then. Will NCL let me transfer the deposit to another cruise, or willI have to put down more money since that sail will be over. thanks Edited January 1, 2017 by redcruzer
HowardK Posted January 1, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 1, 2017 To be on the safe side, I would put a hold on the cruise you want to take tonight for $50 and either pay tonight or tomorrow if it allows you to. Then I would call Monday and cancel the other booking. While having the new cruise on hold, I would check tomorrow via mock booking to see if they perhaps extended the $50 another day. Agree, just book the cruise you want under the sale and cancel the other one tomorrow. If you wait till Monday all you will be doing is a cancellation and new booking anyway. The refund and new charge will probably hit your cc in the same cycle anyway.

Budget Queen Posted January 1, 2017 #5 Share Posted January 1, 2017 Interesting the "sale" mention several times above. Hardly a "sale"???
rocklinmom Posted January 1, 2017 #6 Share Posted January 1, 2017 The $50 per person deposit has been extended until 1/16. Also with the new Dash Sale that goes for the next six days you can get OBC.

rocklinmom Posted January 1, 2017 #8 Share Posted January 1, 2017 On the NCL homepage it says the new Promo (Free at Sea) and you click "Learn more". Under that, scroll down to "Free at Sea Terms and Conditions", click that and read through that box, until it shows the OBC offer that's good January 1st through 6th ("Dash Sale").
