Lisbon Docking Location?

Recommended Posts

Where does Oceania dock in Lisbon? Knowing which cruise terminal would be a big help in determining whether to take a tour or go DIY. Thanks you for input.

We docked there twice in 2016, once on Marina and once on Sirena. Both times were very close to downtown and easy walking distance to the city center.

There are three terminals in Lisbon with the Apolonia being relatively close to town. The others are a taxi ride away from the main part of the city. We were fortunate to be at Apolonia on both trips last year and could walk to the city center.

On our first Renaissance cruise (Oct '99) we could see the ship from the Tile Museum. When we docked there with NCL in 2010 we were closer to Belem as I recall. (Mainly I remember that from NCL we had a fairly long cab ride to the Tile Museum so clearly we docked a distance away from that first port.)

The answer may be that you need to check with Oceania or your TA to see where the ship will be docking. If your cruise is soon, the information should be available. If your cruise is far off, probably not so much. Things change.

I remember very last minute changes in other ports, not that these happen often.

If you go on the Lisbon port website, there is a tab headed cruises and on that page there is a link to "Cruise ship forecast" you can choose the month you want and it tells you where the ship is scheduled to dock , although of course it may change!

Thanks, good call--didn't know about this site.
