If you are cruising NZ/Aus, and your cruise includes Fiordland,

Coming fro NZ to Aus, your ship will enter Dusky Sound cruise in and then exit via Breaksea Sound.You then cruise to Doubtful Sound and leave via Thompson Sound.Back at sea again and up to Milford Sound,which you enter,go as far as Mitre Peak ,drop off or pick pax doing the overland, then turn around and come out.

From Aus /NZ the cruise is done in the reverse order.

This is of course all weather permitting.

On one cruise we missed both Dusky and Doubtful,and it was very dicey as to entering Milford,but we did.
