Cahpek Posted February 14, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 14, 2017 It's been about two years since we have last been on P&O. We shall soon be going on the Ventura, and we have forgotten if P&O provide slippers for their customers. Can experienced P&O customers please help us and let us know please? If slippers are provided on board, it would save us having to pack our own ! Thank you.
dgs1956 Posted February 14, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 14, 2017 Not normally but they do if you are on a higher tier (Caribbean I think). To be honest they are not great anyway.
sammybonny Posted February 14, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 14, 2017 We had them in a superior deluxe balcony last year on Britannia I dont think they are provided in standard cabins. They were one size and were ok for my husband who takes size 10 but not a lot of use for me size 4.
Florry Posted February 14, 2017 #4 Share Posted February 14, 2017 They are not easy to walk in I'm surprised they don't cause accidents. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
mkh999 Posted February 14, 2017 #5 Share Posted February 14, 2017 Slippers are supplied for guests that have reached Mediterranean level, regardless of type of suite booked.

Yes, I think we have booked in the superior deluxe balcony cabin, or at least, it's supposed to be one that is one step above the standard balcony cabin. I realise the slippers are not great, but they are ones that are "throwaway" after use. We got them in hotels and in other cruise lines, eg Oceania. It's just that with one pair of slippers less to pack, it makes life that just one little bit easier. As one of the major British supermarket chain says "Every little helps"! daiB Posted February 15, 2017 #8 Share Posted February 15, 2017 .... and regardless of loyalty tier in certain categories of cabin like the Deluxe Cabins, mini suites and suites. We end up with 4 pair every cruise. Later in the year we are doing two short Britannia cruises back to back so that will be 8. So if you are on with us come and ask we will have spares. :) Sent from my iPad using Forums mobile app
Cruise Puss Posted February 15, 2017 #9 Share Posted February 15, 2017 You can actually get two sizes - small/medium and large - so if one pair is too big ask for a smaller pair. I've been going through the dozens of pairs that I've bought home over the years - saves me buying any.

You wonder why then if there is one male and one female in the room they don't think to put one of each size in.

We always get them. Neither of us wear them, but our friend who is not Mediterranean gets a pair from us!

dgs1956 Posted February 15, 2017 #13 Share Posted February 15, 2017 Why would anyone want to collect umpteen pairs of P&O slippers? Is it compulsory to accept them?

daiB Posted February 15, 2017 #16 Share Posted February 15, 2017 Me too. I used to collect them to show off to people how many cruises I´d been on but I´ve had help with my problem. ;) We just opened a slipper shop. As I don't use them in July there will be 7 pairs going spare. My wife likes the P&O bags which hold the slippers to pack things in.
