Number of Formal nights on 7 day cruise

We are getting on the Regal next Sunday. Is there one or two formal nights on a 7 day cruise?

2 formal nights. 1st usually in 1st sea day. 2nd on 2-3 days before cruise end, depending on itinerary

If you print off your Travel Summary from your Cruise Personalizer, it states it in there.

 

2 formal nights on a 7-night cruise.

Usually 2, but that can be subject to change. Just check your daily patter for details.

It surprises me that so many people don't go to the "horse's mouth" first. I always look through the website before every cruise, even if we're repeating a ship

It's 2 and it's up to the captain which nights they are. Tends to be the first sea day for the first one, and the second one varies, but never on the last night.

Formal nights are for the evening meals in the MDR only. All other venues are casual as on other nights in the MDR or in the case of the HC very casual (shorts, tshirt, flip flops).

Two nights, the second day a sea and the next to the last night at sea. Tueday and Friday should be your Formal nights if they are at sea days.
