"Must Buy" and "Must Eat" in Nevis?

Recommended Posts

I think I read everything and I didn't see anything about "Must Buy" and "Must Eat". We like trying and buying something new. We had flying fish sandwiches in Barbados and they were great. We also like to buy things that are local. We bought MaDouDou flavored rum in St. Maarten and a hook bracelet in St. Croix. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Curious to know where this art gallery is located.

As for the OP's question, when in Nevis you have to try a Killer Bee at Sunshines. As for food, salt fish and dumplings are the main dishes on both islands.

The Kate Spencer Gallery was located next to their residence near the old Rawlins Plantation Inn which is no longer in operation and itself was destroyed in a fire a few years ago. The signage that was on the road is gone I believe. It was near what is now the Kittian Village area.

That's what I thought. I'm not sure why someone would give incorrect information to someone coming to the island.

I wonder if he was confused with The Gallery Cafe in Independence Square showing the work of Rosie Cameron. If memory serves me correctly Kate and Rosie shared The Gallery Cafe at one point.

I am not sure if Rosie & Kate shared any retail space or not. There used to be a retail art gallery on Bank St just East of the Circus. The Gallery Cafe is on North Independence St West of the Catholic Church.
