Jroseflower Posted March 3, 2017 #1 Share Posted March 3, 2017 We just booked our June 24th cruise for MSC Divina and have requested a accessible room but not guarentee, but with the ship sold out of bella interiors - what are the chances of getting either a ocean view or balcony cabin? What exactly does it mean to have a guarantee cabin?
Clar5 Posted March 3, 2017 #2 Share Posted March 3, 2017 Booked a Fantastica interior, got upgraded to balcony. Never even saw an interior cabin assigned.

amandaepperson21 Posted March 14, 2017 #4 Share Posted March 14, 2017 Booked a Bella guarantee inside, got bumped to balcony! We've never gotten an upgrade on any cruise we've ever taken.
Rare Beamafar Posted March 14, 2017 #5 Share Posted March 14, 2017 You're almost guaranteed an upgrade on a 'guarantee' booking but it's less likely for an 'accessible' cabin. 'Sold out' doesn't always mean none available - they may be withdrawn or held back from sale or being held by TAs etc.
mom2tcdx2 Posted March 14, 2017 #6 Share Posted March 14, 2017 We booked three bella insides, all received an inside cabin. One received the Bella location, while two received a fantastica location. We then also booked a fantastica inside -which was upgraded to a balcony. My mother was a bit upset and told to a rep when she had called, she has sailed I think 4 times with MSC. The rep told her that if you book a Bella they are pretty much never upgraded. Though apparently some people still find they are getting upgraded. My daughter just happened to luck out as when we booked they told us the 4th cabin no longer had the bella available so we booked hers as the higher one. She is only 18 and her boyfriend 19 - and they got the balcony. Go figure (as he has also never cruised before)
