We are in cabin 10112 later this year - looking at the deck plans we are near the stairs and the glass elevators. On the plans there seems to be a vast empty space just further along from 10112 - no cabins opposite us. Any idea to what is this empty space (crew access /air con ?) Thanks for any help and hope you are enjoying your cruise.

If you are referring to the white space to the left and aft of the stairs... crew stairs, HVAC, storage. The ship's stacks run through that area as well.

None at all. Maybe a very, very, very slight advantage in that there are less cabins near you?

 

There are blank spaces all over the place for reasons mentioned above.

 

I think it would be difficult to find a bad cabin anywhere on that deck.

 

The biggest issue in cabin location is often the noise from the deck above. In your case, there are more cabins. Good.

Thanks for that, I was undecided about requesting a change - though on the same deck (10). When we booked 10112 was the only cabin available that did not interconnect.
