Just had a reply from Dora saying that a 4 hour tour would be $70pp (approx £56.00) whereas the ship tour is £38.00 for a 4 hour tour, is the Dora tour really that much better to justify the extra?

Usually Dora is way cheaper then the ship tour.  It's a great tour, but do the cheaper one. You will be fine.
