BEENSAILING Posted June 19, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 19, 2017 I will be in Falmouth and I am not planning to leave the port this trip. Does anyone know if there are free wifi locations in the port area? (I have already looked at "Jamaica" board and someone wrote there was free wifi at Diamonds International, but that was a while ago..) Thanks... Biker19 Posted June 19, 2017 #2 Share Posted June 19, 2017 We've found that the MDR waiters are a very good source for that info.
easyboy Posted June 19, 2017 #3 Share Posted June 19, 2017 Most ship crews can direct you to free wifi hotspot, though you would need to buy coffee or soda in some to have the password. Sent from my SGH-M919 using Forums mobile app
jimmyzwei Posted June 19, 2017 #4 Share Posted June 19, 2017 my experience this year was that Margaritaville was my best source in port of Falmouth. I only purchased one beer and was connected by staff, they input the code in phone for you.
Rare Lionesss Posted June 19, 2017 #5 Share Posted June 19, 2017 Well let me tell you about our "free wifi" experience on top of the jewelry store, next to security as you go back to the ship. The man behind the refreshment stand will take your phone and put in the access code to get it.......................for a tip. 3 of us got it for $20. We must be paying for the crew. Now that was summer of 2015, I know old news, but now we have free internet with our suite. Just make sure you know the definition of free. Safe travels. Thanks Biker19 - last time I was there with DH we walked to a great place - outside of the port area for Jerk Chicken and there were several crew members there. (And we all were on wifi.) DH will not be with me on this trip and I don't want to walk there alone, so I was planning on staying in the immediate port area.

Just go to Margaritaville and get a drink, they will input the code into your phone. They will not tell it to you so you can't share it. We asked some crew who were sitting in the chairs on the jogging track of Oasis for the password and they said that they had gotten it input into their phones by a server at Margaritaville. One guy tried a few different passwords, but none worked.
