Adventure of the Seas Amazing Cruise on the Adventure! by carolinealison11

The ship recently went through some refurbishment and got some upgrades, like water slides! The water slides were a great addition and our family really enjoyed them. They were really fun for being on a cruise ship! The appearance of the ship was really very nice. Its a promenade ship, which we really like - a nice area to mill about and check out shops and watch entertainment. We got a wake view balcony cabin (1392) and I'm so glad we did! The RC representative recommended it when we booked and they were totally right. The balcony is a bit bigger than usual and a little more private because one side was a wall and not a shared piece of glass with another cabin...Read More

Celebrity Eclipse Transformed While Re-positioning... by Wanderlust 2 I enjoyed playing Mahjongg in the card room, but eventually moved my game to Blu and joined the Bridge Players who had that location as their designated space. Blu graciously provided snacks and drinks for the group every sea day. The Gym equipment was in good condition, it was clean and the attendants were helpful. There were several fitness classes offered for a fee, but I just used the equipment. The cafe located near the gym and spa was great for a light breakfast, coffee or salad at lunch...Read More

Amsterdam Amsterdam inTop Shape by RJ2002 We thought the Amsterdam was in great condition. Spotlessly clean everywhere, except for the dirty soot that the stacks deposited around the Sea View pool area, and on the MDR windows. We jumped at a late sale on Neptune Suites to sail on the Amsterdam, one of HAL's co-flagships. Grand and World Cruise passengers would indeed be comfortable and well looked after on this fine ship...Read More

Carnival Vista Great cruise; none of the hassles mentioned in other reviews by graycat274 We had a Havana cabin, so we had access to the Havana Pool area which was never crowded. On sea days, there were always available loungers; we actually got a large round couch with awning every day around 9:30-10:00. The bar doesn't serve snacks anymore, but people would leave to get lunch without worry that their stuff would be removed "after 30 minutes". The Havana crew were very diligent in removing non-Havana guests immediately...Read More

River Princess Tulips and Windmills by djett The food was as good if not better then ever. The dining room menus were diverse and offered many choices each evening and we thought portion size was terrific. This extended beyond the Crystal Dining Room to other areas where we ate including the Lido Cafe at lunchtime. Although we didn't eat at Silk Road (our children and spouses did) we thoroughly enjoyed the food that we ordered in from that restaurant as we did the Prego Italian Restaurant. In the case of Prego we tried several items we had either never had or hadn't had in year and found thoroughly enjoy each one... Read More
