msk1955 Posted July 5, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 5, 2017 Does anyone know what CMV's policy is regarding drinks brought on board? Are they strict (ie bags searches) or a bit more relaxed like P&O?
stephen@stoneyard.co.uk Posted July 5, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 5, 2017 I did not go through any security at Tilbury last time. I could have had anything in my hand luggage. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
zib_zib Posted July 6, 2017 #3 Share Posted July 6, 2017 You cannot bring drinks onboard like you can on P&O. They are like Fred Olsen. They search your bag and confiscated it till the end of your cruise. Sent from my iPad using Forums
badtwin Posted July 6, 2017 #4 Share Posted July 6, 2017 We were on Magellan a year ago. I do not recall the security at Tilbury. They scanned carry on items at regular ports, but given the configuration of the boat, we had no security check when arriving in a tender boat because there was no place for a big queue. I assume this will depend on the ship. That said, the drinks prices were very reasonable compared to other cruises.
casofilia Posted July 9, 2017 #5 Share Posted July 9, 2017 I presume that Tilbury is not a Tender Port. Do they do a bag scan before boarding?
stephen@stoneyard.co.uk Posted July 10, 2017 #6 Share Posted July 10, 2017 I did not get scanned. Some people did. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
