Oosterdam Great Cruise ot Alaska with Grandkids by Jofannie and Mark

Shore excursions. Since this is our 6th cruise to Alaska (we live in the Seattle area), we chose excursions this time aimed at giving the kids an overview understanding of this great state without breaking the bank. So in Juneau we explored an old gold mine and panned for gold and also rode the Mt. Roberts Tram where you can see Juneau from 1800 ft. in the air and visit some raptors. In Sitka (my favorite Alaska cruise port), we visited the largest Raptor sanctuary in the state and did a rainforest walk through part of the Tongass National Forest where we saw extraordinary Totem Poles...Read More

Grandeur of the Seas June 1, 2017 A Grand Time Aboard The Grandeur by teacher2cruiser This was our first time to try an inside cabin, but it won't be the last. We were nervous since we'd always had a balcony or a window, but we were fine. Yes, it was small, but we never felt claustrophobic, The worst part was the shower curtain, but it's the same that's in the balcony cabin we had on our previous Grandeur cruise. They really need to do something about those! Our cabin was on the seventh floor and our cabin attendant was very attentive and kept our collapsible ice cooler filled with ice. (I did miss not having a refrigerator.) One note : I had read the suggestion to take hooks for the wall, and this definitely helped in keeping our inside cabin tidy!...Read More

Wilderness Adventurer Beautiful scenery, great fellow adventurers, wonderful experience by chamczar The UnCruise team was very impressive - especially noticed how well everyone was treated. It is a rare cruise that allows the team to stop what they are doing and photograph and observe wildlife when they are present, even if that means dinner will have to wait. The entire team was also personally introducd on the first day and thanked by the captain on the last night. The team worked together to get what needed to be done completed - not unusual to see the captain down on the EZ dock pulling your kayak in. He provided the nighttime entertainment one night by singing with his guitar....Read More

Norwegian Escape Excellent Cruise in All Aspects! by DawnHB The Garden Cafe, has the most options and flavor of any buffet I have ever encountered on any vessel. Biggest line we ran into was only 2 or 3 people. Escape's upscale dining rooms could hold their own against any landside restaurant; Teppanaki, La Cuchina, Le Bistro, Pinchos, Cagneys were all wonderful in food, service, and cleanliness. Never did we feel rushed, it was very leisurely dinners. O'Sheehans was really nice. Taste and Savor were excellent, never has more than a 4 minute wait. Manhattan Room was a treat; especially with their music...Read More

Disney Wonder An Amazing Magical Cruise! by PeterHKL We ate mostly at the main dinning rooms. Our waiter and assistant waiter are totally awesome. They cater to us better than any restaurant we have been to. They know what you like or dislike by the second night and makes recommendation accordingly. The food quality was good and better than what we had on Allure. It is probably the best amongst all the cruise line in terms of main dinning room food. We went to Palo on the second night. This was awesome in food and service. The souffle was to die for! Never had such good service in any restaurant before. The view from Palo was great being in the aft of the ship... Read More
