Fair enough young David, your pies are a national secret. :halo:

As I was saying on an earlier thread, we were on an Air NZ flight - Sydney to Auckland, enroute to LA. Lunch was served on the aircraft and this youngish Aussie businesswoman sitting across the aisle said to us, 'I get this flight every week, if they serve those B....y Lamb Pies again, I will scream.' Sure enough Lamb Pie was on the menu, the lady was not happy, but ate it. lol.:halo:

LOl, I am sure there are better things to complain about on a long haul flight.

From the nation that invented food on a stick like Corn Dogs the humble "doggie"will be an enigma to our American friends. Let's hope they don't get sold any of GUT's 40 cent squeezy's, that would result in legal action for certain. clear.png?emoji-tearsjoy-1678

The Brothers Oven looks good on their website Mic, if I ever venture to MP Park again I will certainly try the produce.

A wonder they did not squirt maple syrup over the Aussie Pie, as they do.

They squirt it by the gallon on the ships.:')

I was talking about Brothers Oven, in Homeworld, Tuggeranong .

I would think they are referring to Canberra as MP Park (Member of Parliament Park).;p

Brother's Oven has been there for at least 20 years, although it has changed management a few times. They have a comprehensive range of pies, (no sure about GF pies though) .

Didn't think so, not worth the effort on a friand.

Have been spoiled for years by my Mother in Laws Mince Pies at Christmas, she also did the Pudding. This year at 92 this lady from Devon UK is not up to it.So a tradition of over 50 years closes this year, the Mince Pies won't taste the same ;still Cheers and Merry Christmas to all.

Of course this time of the year makes us all think of the traditions and loved ones that have passed.

Let us all have a pie and maybe even buy one for someone who cannot. Merry Christmas

Very nice of her, looooove Christmas Pud, but this year had to buy one, just wasn’t up to the task, Recipe is at least five generations old.

Those shop bought are ok but not like the traditional home made recipe's that have been handed down the generations. Do you remember when we got Thrieepenny Bits and Zac's in the Pud,the currency today would melt in a Pud.??clear.png?emoji-smile-1742
