We got to 140 points exactly at the end of our Liberty cruise last week.  When should we expect to receive the crystal block?

Um, you should have gotten it on Liberty.   I guess you can call C&A and request one.

This is why I suggest to people to check with the Loyalty Ambassador when they expect a block on a cruise.

Honestly, it slipped my mind until I saw this thread again.  But I wish I had remembered - lots easier to get straightened out on the ship than via phone, especially during the holiday season.

What do you do with the block if you earn one on an Eastbound TA and have to fly back to the U.S. with the luggage weight  constraints?  Will they ship it back for you?

Not likely, we carried Mariner home.  Put it in your carry on

I have also learned to take the block out of the carry-on and put it alone in one of the small tubs going into the x-ray scanner.  Saves time this way because there's a very good chance they will want to inspect it.

Good advice Clarea! I got stopped at airport and it was taken out of my hand luggage and inspected.

On reaching a milestone it would be so nice to receive block without having to ask and chase it! This happened to us.

Also on our last cruise we didn’t receive our Top Tier invitation (along with others) and we all missed out! :(

Hope they forget about you on the ship so then you can call C&A and have them ship it to you.

P.S. The block is only 3 lbs.

I did call C&A yesterday and a very polite woman answered and, (after a bit of a hold while she checked on something), they will mail us the block.  She also mentioned that I should have gotten it on the ship.  If we're still cruising at 210 I'll do better😀.  At least seeing this thread jogged my aged memory!

We got a block on Legend OTS without reaching 140 point

We cruised last 3 B2B Sydney - Barcelona  before being sold.

All Diamonds and above were present Blocks on the last Leg.

This topped off one of the best cruise ever, was a party for all crew and guest all

the way from Sydney. Is amazing how we keep running in people of that cruise.

Only because they were cleaning out the inventory.   I also read folks were getting free or incredibly discounted wine.  Good for you

Hey Bob- would you believe  back then I gave back my Monarch second block (The one given on the last weekend cruise)  as I already had a Monarch block.  It never occurred to me to trade and who knew  there would be an active open market for the blocks.

I traded for a Sovereign block (thanks Kathy) which was great since she was gone from the fleet and I had no chance to get one of those the normal way.

A quick update on the block we didn't receive on Liberty on our just-finished cruise.  I called C&A on Monday afternoon, which was after 5:00 in Florida, and spoke to a very nice woman.  She offered to ship it to us, and we received the block yesterday, Saturday of the same week.  It's lovely and we're happy to have it.  So....thanks, and well done, Crown and Anchor.

I just thought it was a great thing RCI.

We have cruised on Legend times prior to the final cruise.

So was a bit of a bonus, plus we purchase a few of her port of call plaques.

was a special cruise for all.

Those port of call plaques would have been special, I wish they would have offered those on Monarch.  Perhaps the officers and crew were given a shot.

Our first block was on Harmony. After completing our Dec Freedom sailing we will be at 208. Just realized that our next block will be on Harmony again. We will be looking to trade.

Or take a short cruise on another ship.
