AMAWaterways Disembarkation, Toiletries

We were wondering how disembarkation is handled on AMA Stella. Do we have to put our luggage out the night before, as on traditional cruise ships? May we walk off the ship anytime we want with all our luggage?

 

What are the toiletries provided in the non-suite staterooms? Anything beyond the shampoo, conditioner, lotion?

The disembarkation is different than on the cruise ships. All cabins have to be vacated by 9 am. People are leaving at different times and luggage is put outside your stateroom 30 minutes prior to your departure. If you have a late departure, your luggage is put outside your stateroom at 9 am and you wait in the lounge, your luggage will be stored until you depart. A few days before the cruise ends they will want to know if you need a taxi to the airport or hotel, what time you will need it and pre-order it for you. Your luggage will be waiting for you at the taxi.

Toiletries are just the usual soap, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion.
