Eurodam Loved Alaska and the Eurodam by Mrkmbb Glacier Bay - The absolute, life-changing highlight of the trip! We had a bright, sunny day and everywhere we looked was something amazing. The best views were from our balcony, but it was fun to be on the lido deck or the bow to share the experience with everyone else. We were lucky to see the Johns Hopkins Glacier in addition to the usual ones, and the whole day was just incredible. We took over 400 pictures on that day alone...Read More

Celebrity Equinox Family Fun on the Equinox by missthesea Cabin: We had adjoining cabins, 6272 and 6274. These did not have a door between the cabins, but rather opened to small common entryway. This was nice, because we could shut our door for privacy from the kids, or keep all the doors open. The balconies also connected. Our steward connected the cabins and - at our request - emptied the minibars. Watch out for the air pressure on the cabin doors if you have your balcony door open, they can close very forcefully. Storage was fine, though we did have to use the storage over the beds for clothing, which was not always easy for the kids to reach. The beds were comfortable, including the trundle bed one of our kids slept on. The kids enjoyed the programs on the TV so much that we had to shag them out to enjoy the ship sometimes. Bathrooms were very nice, with plexiglass shower doors and lots of shelving for toiletries. We had a partially obstructed balcony, meaning that a life boat was below us. We didn't mind. It did not block our view of the sea and the horizon...Read More

Anthem of the Seas Very enjoyable cruise with excellent ports by eel Entertainment: Overall the entertainment was stellar! The Gift is a bit weird but has great production values. Spectra’s Cabaret was fun and bouncy but not as good as the cast we saw on Ovation. We Will Rock You was amazing! Other entertainers were solid although we had a few re-runs from previous cruises. Rock the Boat was an excellent house band. We enjoyed listening to them in the Music Hall several times. The Eagles tribute band was also very good...Read More

Viking Sky We loved it! by fhawk852 This was a cruise to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. Also we wanted to see the Hermitage (number one on my wife's bucket list) and the prospects for an insider tour were very compelling. We also wanted to see the Baltic and the cruise set the stage for a separate followup tour of Norway that we did on our own. The boat was lovely and new. With under 1,000 passengers, we felt crowded only a very few times. Service was wonderful. It could not have been much better. Ryan, the young man who looked after our cabin did a great job. The rest of the staff was wonderful, particularly Angela, one of the restaurant supervisors. Everyone made us feel welcome...Read More

Emerald Sun Wonderful Cruise! by Travelbird22 The rooftop deck was fabulous at night, to walk after dinner, stare at the passing sights, (particularly amazing in Budapest), or have a drink and enjoy the company of new friends. The employees were all just wonderful, and really made the experience, with the their smiles, laughter, helpfulness and friendliness. The entertainment was a bit homespun, which is expected on a small ship, with no actual theater, and a small number of passengers and crew - but this is not why people cruise the Danube, and I thought they did a smashing job, with games, and their crew performance - charming and funny...Read More
