Your reviews rock!!! My husband and I are on Vista this Saturday. We have been going on 2 cruises a year for over 10 years now. Next April is Elation so I am interested in that review since just came out of drydock. Next May is Miracle (our very first cruise together and still one of our favs). So happy Miracle is coming

back east:) November 2018 is Horizon....maybe someday if our dates coincide we will join you at the bar for a beer :)

I love when you and Patti go on a cruise (or 3) because I know there's a great review coming our way!!! So glad to have met you at the Patriots game & hope we cruise together at some point soon.

Hey there!!! Thanks for coming aboard! I see that you must have loved the Pride since you are booked on her again for New Year's! Hope we get a chance to cruise together, but until then see you at the ballpark. We sit in the same seats all year.:D

Fun read. That bridge is scary especially on a motorcycle.

Thanks for reading! That bridge is scary even in a car! :)

Glad to have you back on board! Enjoy your cruise on the Vista. Looks like 2018 is a year of great cruises for you guys. Would love to share some beers with you on a cruise someday. BTW, we love Lancaster, just not the Barnstormers! :D

Was the muster in the Elation held inside or on the decks? We are sailing her in two weeks

Our muster was held inside. We were in the Romeo & Juliet lounge. They no longer march you up to the lifeboats.

So glad your back & doing this review. We sail on Magic in 3 weeks.

Thanks for following along! Enjoy your cruise!

Day # 1 Embarkation Day - 10/7/17

We were up at 7am to repack our luggage for our two weeks aboard the Carnival Magic. A big shout out to Anthony the bellhop who helped us move our luggage from our room to our van, and then to the hotel lobby. We are going to be on the 10:30 shuttle over to the port. We booked with the cruise and park rate which gave us free parking for the first seven days. Because we were doing a back to back we had to pay $40 for the second week of parking, which was still a great deal.

Though it was a little chaotic in the lobby once the shuttles pulled up, by 10:45 we were on our way to the Magic. Once there, we had to wait a few minutes for a spot to open up so they could unload our luggage, but once that happened things moved very quickly. In no time at all we were checked in, and we boarded right away.We stepped on board the Carnival Magic around 11:30…….

Once on board we immediately went to our cabin. We were all the way aft on the starboard side right next to the aft wrap. Our cabin was # 6499 and was located in a little hallway which we shared with cabin # 6501 which was the aft wrap…..

Hey Jimbo! Always nice to have you along for the ride. We were at Disney on October 4th.

We were there the next week, would have been weird if there at the same time.
