Has The Nieuw Amsterdam had Library and Crow's Nest Change Over yet? Sailing 11/18.

Hi, I have been reading about the recent remodeled Westerdam and wondered if the NA has had her "Face Lift" yet. I sail on 11/18 on NA and want to know what to expect.

Going into drydock at the beginning of December, not sure if that's on the schedule for this refirb.

Details: Refurbishments possibly include replacing Explorers Lounge with Lincoln Center Stage; replacing Northern Lights Bar with the Gallery (Arts) Bar and doing away with the traditional piano bar (replacing it with with "Billboard Onboard.") Parts of the casino will be touched as well the spa and some other public areas. Suite upgrades and improvements will include new furniture, modern fixtures and new carpeting. Crow's Nest lounge will transform to become a new, interactive trip-planning and enrichment center called Explorations Central.

Kate45, sure will. I had changed a few weeks ago to the NA instead of the Rotterdam cruise out of Tampa cruise. I'm 1/2 from Port Everglades and didn't really want to drive to Tampa right now.

Where did you get this information? We leave on a 17 day cruise on the NA December 20, 2017. The ship is in dry dock before this cruise, the first 3 days of the cruise is a shakedown to Nassau right after dry dock.

NA goes into dry dock on 6 December and returns to service on 20 December so it's likely to get the makeover described.

Wondering about noise level of cabin10006 on Nieuw Amsterdam. Any info...seems it is under the gym on

10006 is below the Crow's Nest and above a room off the gym. A review I found for 10001 said "Very quiet cabin as well, no noise from the fitness center or Crow’s Nest", so I would expect 10006 to be the same.
