Best beach with facilities

I have read posts as far back as 2016, but still undecided about the best beach that has chairs/lounges, shade, food and drinks. It looks like the choices are Plaza, Spice/Coco, Harbor Village Resort, Eden, Sorobon. Given Bonaire is a snorkeling island, what would be the best bet for 4 active seniors who don’t want to snorkel? Pros, cons, comparisons appreciated. Thanks, in advance.

We just returned from Bonaire. We went to Sorobone Beach this time. From what you describe, I think you will enjoy this one. The water is absolutely gorgeous. The beach has white sand and it is one level deep for a couple of miles into the bay. Facilities are rustic but quite adequate. Beach bar and restaurant is nice. It is shaded. Areas on the beach are shaded but may be hard to find if very crowded. It was very breezy and cool so if we did not have shade, we would have been fine. We went there at noon and had no difficulty finding lounge chairs or seats. Lots of taxis to take you back to the port. ($5 pp). About 15 minutes from the port.

Would agree that Sorobone works. In fact, you could take a 100 year old to that beach and put them in the water. The shallow area seems to extend forever (we are talking very shallow). It is also a popular place for windsurfing (especially novices) which is always fun to watch. To be honest, the beaches on Bonaire leave much to be desired......but Sorobone is about as good as you can find for those that prefer to wade :).
