Yukonbear Posted December 22, 2017 #1 Share Posted December 22, 2017 my wife and I are booked on the Silhouette Jan 14 and if we cancel now we lose 75%. She doesn’t think she can go but is happy if I go rather than losing everything. Am I allowed to board without her or will Celebrity say that we booked as a couple so both need to board. It is possible but unlikely she will board at one of the islands.
CHEZMARYLOU Posted December 22, 2017 #2 Share Posted December 22, 2017 Yes you can board without her but her fare will not be refunded. Might get a refund of port fees and pre paid gratuities but not sure about that.

Rare Lois R Posted December 22, 2017 #4 Share Posted December 22, 2017 They have their payment for 2 people already so it does not matter to them if one of you isn't going on the cruise.
hancock Posted December 22, 2017 #5 Share Posted December 22, 2017 Can someone else do the cruise with you/? Only one person's name on the original booking needs to stay. Your wife could be replaced by a friend or relative.
Yukonbear Posted December 22, 2017 Author #6 Share Posted December 22, 2017 It is difficult to find someone for a 12 day cruise and they need to find their way to Florida from Toronto area.

It would be easy for me to get there from the midwest...:) Hope you can find someone to go!
DirtyDawg Posted December 22, 2017 #10 Share Posted December 22, 2017 It is difficult to find someone for a 12 day cruise and they need to find their way to Florida from Toronto area. Just head down to the Ceeps or Barney's and ask around. You'll find somebody in about 30 seconds. :halo::D (for those of you who do not know London, Ontario, those are two famous bars in town, or should I say infamous.:))
leaveitallbehind Posted December 22, 2017 #11 Share Posted December 22, 2017 If she wishes to board at a one of the ports, you will need to clear it with Celebrity in advance. As well as the intended port of embarkation I believe.
