Oasis of the seas,Feb 11th Cruise.Arawak water park Labadee.anyone?

Recommended Posts

Hi to all over the waters.

We are sailing 11th Feb to Phillipsburg,San Juan then Labadee.

The water park is of interest, has any body been to this? and if yes can it be walked to from the ship and is it possible to pay at the entrance or is it a tour that needs to be booked?

We would be very grate full for any advice on this attraction. Thank you for reading Sue.

Yes - the water park in Labadee is walkable from the ship. Actually, everything in Labadee is walkable. It is located in Columbus Cove and you can actually see if from the ship and the pier off to your right. It is considered an excursion, but it can be paid for once you get on Labadee. You pay for a specific time at the water park and then you have access for an hour. The advantage of pre-booking is that you can get the time you want and if there is a high demand, it could sell out if you wait until you get to Labadee. Also, they will have excursion sales from time to time and you can take advantage of those. The advantage of waiting is that if you change your mind or it is not great weather, you have not already spent your money.

The park is a lot of fun, but it can be a lot of work too. You swim from thing to thing in the park and then pull yourself up. With the life jacket they give you, pulling yourself onto whatever floating thing you are at can get tiring. I doubt anyone has had a full hour of playing at the park and then wanted to go back for another hour. Most are ready to go rest or eat, and a lot of folks don't even last the full hour.

HI, Please share your excursions on this cruise and your thoughts... We are traveling later this summer and I have no clue what to do or not to do.

Thanks! C
