It was a bargain, 17 days- 5 at sea for the crossing. All ports great, even the excitement of a medical emergency with a hovering helicopter taking a very ill woman off, happy ending though - she is OK.

There's far too much smoking on board, the casino is a nightmare thick with smoke. As I've read here before but I thought some of the writers were being unkind when I first read here about how rude certain ethnic groups seemed to be. Now I know - you were right. Sadly, I admit the German folk were so very difficult, barging in line for elevators, rude to staff, cutting into lines to embark etc. NO - I am not a bigot, I know what I observed.

The food is OK but just that, not what one expects on such a new & beautiful ship & it is gorgeous. Too big for me. Our cabin was wonderful, the service on board teriffic. staff wonderful. The Internet Cafe is a joke.. .50 Euros for a minute, the mice (plural for computer mouse) are generally defective, cant use your laptop ergo no photos can be sent, no A drive to send discette stuff one might want to write in the cabin, copy to a disc and send this to save on the ship's excessive charges.

 

On balance, it was a great experience, it was as a repositioning, fairly priced. I am NOT so enthusiastic about Your ManTours, but that's a whole other matter - maybe later.
