Coupon Book

We sailed the Eurodam in the past. We are sailing the Koningsdam soon. Does anyone know if they still hand out the coupon books. Most things were useless, but we did make use of the coupon for the hydro pool and heating beds. TIA

I believe they are still around. They seem to be generated by TA's for particular booking times or sailings.

While you may be told you are getting one if they are offered later, your TA may arrange it and you may find one in your mail box.

Not everyone gets them. No idea how it works other than that.

That coupon alone makes the book worthwhile!

We only got one once, and our TA said he had nothing to do with it.

Can you request one at front desk? Or COULD YOUR tA request one?
No harm in asking. :)

Same here -- we got the coupon books a couple of times and our TA told us that they had not come from here.

We never found anything worth while in them. You had to spend big bucks to get a little money off something.

That's marketing for you. The only coupon we've ever used was the one for some extra minutes. True, we had to buy an internet package to get the bonus minutes, but we do buy that anyway. Otherwise, we didn't see anything we wanted to use.

The deal I got with my travel agent for the Nieuw Amsterdam (leaving tomorrow!) includes the coupon books. I wasn't expecting it to have much of interest, but if they offer me any bonus minutes, I'll happily take them!
