We take two mesh laundry bags with drawstring. One for clothing we want to send to ships laundry and one for clothing going home. Just stuff the mesh bag with dirty laundry in the suitcase.....easy packing.

Post it notes to leave notes in the room for steward or spouse. Binoculars for the balcony, multi plug outlets to give you extra plugs, highlighter to mark things on the daily activity list, yeti, flashlight.

Cleaning wipes (clorox, lysol etc). I take the roll out of the tube and put the wipes in a gallon zip lock or two.

but we do bring a battery operated alarm clock so we don't miss an excursion

and I have taken 8 times, and never used, the battery operated fan. since we usually cruise in winter or fall I guess I should have been bringing a battery operated heater. Hmm wonder if they make those. NOT!!

thank you for that idea, on our last cruise the shower curtain had a mind of it's own, and flooded the floor every time we showered.

Motion activated battery powered nightlight for the bathroom. I don't want the bright light when I get up in the middle of the night. After completely missing the toilet & landing on my tailbone on the shower ledge, I will always take my nightlight.

For a few dollars more (or free if you ask the onboard entertainment crew nicely), you could have Gaffer Tape instead. Sticks as good as duct tape but no gooey mess when you remove it.

It would be nice if you put what you use these things for. I cannot think of any use for things like duct tape or glow sticks, but maybe I'm missing something that will make my cruise better.

Over the door shoe organizer to store bathroom products, sunscreen, etc. This helps to keep the counter space free from clutter.
