I mean it's 2018 and it would help sell cruises and possibly upgrades. It's just a convenient way to get answers as quickly as possible. NCL does a good job of this. What do you think? They used to have a chat feature, but it was removed. I suspect because people would record the chat showing erroneous info being given and Royal would be forced to produce what they promised. It was only though crown and anchor I think. I really wish they had this feature. Really makes getting info easier and faster. Thanks for the reply. Also, do we really want to add another layer of agents who have no idea what they're talking about?! It would be more convenient, albeit no more reliable. I suspect they would also have trouble verifying info if you're talking about an existing reservation. I was helping a relative (or trying to help) and had all of their info, but the agent wouldn't allow me to ask or answer because I wasn't on the reservation. While I get the safety features of identification, I made the reservation, had the room, res#, names of passengers, b-days, etc. Basically, told him where to go...
