How is the water at Amber Cove?

Recommended Posts

Thinking about taking a catamaran snorkel cruise when we get to Amber Island. However, some of the posts state the water is not the typical beautiful Caribbean Island clear. Is his true? Anyone do the snorkel trips? Thanks for any info!

Agree. We went on a cat snorkel excursion and really saw nothing.

I think I figured out why it's called Amber cove - the water is......well Amber colored:):). All the water I saw near the Amber cover was brown, clouded water. I doubt the snorkeling would be good but see what others have said.
