Transportation from Orlando to Port Canaveral

I am looking at taking a cruise on the Carnival Sunshine out of Port Canaveral in April 2019. ( flying in from Canada) Is there a shuttle bus from the airport? What are some good hotels to stay at for a few days prior to departure? Should we stay in Orlando, or would Port Canaveral be best?

There are a number of shuttles that go to the port. We like Cortrans, $20 per person. If you are staying a few days, you may want to consider a one-way rental car. There are about a half-dozen rental agencies in the port area that have free shuttles to/from the cruise terminals.

 

 

We typically stay at the Residence Inn in Cape Canaveral.

I am flying to Orlando next year, and my father will pick me up, I will stay with him in orlando, and he will take me to/from the port I don't think that would work for you though.

We use Cocoa Beach Shuttle, easy and good service. Then we stay at the Radisson at the Port the night before. We've been doing it this way for about 10 years now.

If you're interested in the Orlando parks (Disney, Universal), then you'll want to stay there prior to leaving for Canaveral. If that's not on your agenda, then you'll want to head on to the coast!
