Everything Casino Offers -- Premier, Getaway, Pack&Play, and other Casino offers

Recommended Posts

pe4all, what kind of cash did you get with your premier cruise before? And was it a PC9 as well?

I have had a PC4 offer before and have always gotten $500 cash at the cashier. This upcoming cruise I have for April is the same PC4 offer, but they have cut it down to $200 cash instead.

I received $500 on the premier cruises I have been on. I just received a response from Player's Club about my email re: "missing" bounceback cruise. They gave me an OV1 offer, which is what I sailed on Conquest this past week under. ($200 for interior cabin, plus $200 obc) I upgrade (always) my cabin to a balcony, so I got the 6 night cruise for $950 - still a bargain in my book for 2 people in a balcony.

My current offer codes in my account are PTC, OV1, PC9 and P6V. None show how much casino cash they are offering.

Yeah, nice how they never tell you how much cash when they send you the offer. I have emailed Ocean Players Club before to get a confirmation of how much and that way I get a printed letter to take along on the cruise, incase there is any discepency.

This next cruise (April), I asked again before I booked and just got a generic letter, stating there will be cash waiting for me after I book the cruise. Booked, and still never got an answer. My PVP is the one who told me it would only be $200. The cruise fair was about $150 chesper than the regular fare, so there is that.

When my offers show up on Carnival’s site, they almost always follow with an email for the offer and it states the amount of cash coming my way and any other perks. Not on BBs, but the rest do I believe.

It's obvious to me that this thread is not for casual gamblers, lol. I haven't got any offers anywhere close to this in a loooooong time. My wife and I usually spend around $1000 combined in the casino.

HawkIVette & pe4all (and everyone), it appears that sometimes the offer does not show how much Cash it comes with on the VIFP screen. It just says something generic like "up to 40% off + casino cash". To find out how much cash the offer comes with, check your email account. The easiest way to find the associated email that will give you the information you are looking for is to do an email search using the offer code. My premier getaway P8V code email came on Feb 28, even though the offer showed up in VIFP on Feb 21. The PTF offer showed up in VIFP on Mar 7, and the email for that offer also came sameday on Mar 7.

ALL . . . when you are posting be sure to differentiate the OBC or Cash that comes with the offer (i.e. "Up to 40% off with Casino Rates + Casino Cash") vs. pre-boarding comps cash you are getting in addition to the VIFP offer by emailing global casino services. For example, in offers 2 & 3 in my first post, it was "Exclusive Casino Rates + get up to $100-$150 OBC" I booked one of these offers for our Feb 2018 cruise and got the $100 OBC as part of the offer plus I emailed GCS and they gave me $75 casino chips from the cage when I arrived. The casino chips were in addition to the offer, not part of the offer, as nowhere in the offer or the emails I received did it say 100 OBC plus casino funchips.

FORMATTING :

It might be more useful if we post our offers and we all use the same general formatting :

CODE - Title of Offer in VIFP screen - $0 OBC/cash/chips (amount listed in VIFP screen or in the email*)

Expires 0-0-00 - First saw offer 0-0-00

below that you can expand into more detail if you like or copy more lines of the offer from the VIFP screen

below you can also include any additional $ you got from emailing GCS if you like

* sometimes the offer does not show how much Cash it comes with on the VIFP screen. It just says something generic like "up to 40% off + casino cash". To find out how much cash the offer comes with, check your email account. The easiest way to find the correct associated email that will give you this information is to do a search in your email using the offer code. Typically the email will show how much the "casino cash" offer is, even when the amount does not show up in the VIFP screen

example:

P8V - Premier Getaway Cruises: Up to 40% off with Casino Rates + Casino Cash - $100 cash

Book by April 5, 2018 - First saw offer 2-21-18

read my first post on this thread for lots more details

I emailed GCS and I will get no additional pre-boarding comp$ over the $100 that comes with this offer

example:

PTF - FunPlay Chips + Casino Rates - $50 chips

Book by April 26, 2018 - First saw offer 3-7-18

Available on a wide variety of sailings through April 30, 2020

Enjoy FunPlay Chips + Casino Rates with up to $500 off Fun Select rates

Reserve your Casino Rate with a $99 reduced deposit per person

Have not booked this or emailed GCS for any additional pre-boarding comp$

example:

OWJ - Exclusive Casino Rates + Get Up to $100 Onboard Credit - $100 OBC

Expires 2-28-18 - First saw offer 12-14-17

"available on select Sunshine, Magic, and Miracle sailings" 7+ days thru 12-31-18 on interior, OV, or balcony.

OBC was for $50 per person up to $100 per cabin. Required $99 non-refundable deposit

I booked one of these offers for our Feb 2018 cruise and got the $100 OBC as part of the offer plus emailed and received $75 casino chips from GCS when I arrived.

Check your offers. My wife and I also consider ourselves casual gamblers and have never received true casino offers. After seeing this thread, I checked ours and found casino offers, but not to the extent of the true casino offers. It states up to $500 off + casino cash with no amount specified. I have applied it to some cruises, but didn't really see much difference in pricing without the offer. Maybe it is for specific sailings as mentioned in other posts, but there are no specific sailings mentioned with this offer. I wish there was an easier way to see where the real savings are.

I have always received actual Cash. But have heard that Carnival is moving towards loading it on your S&S. I will play that much anyway, so not a problem. But if you want the cash, do the slot machine trick. Load it on a slot machine, do one pull, and then cash it out.

You can't do the slot machine trick. It will say "free play" and you have to play it. no way to cash it out.

My carnival casino offers have gone from great to meh. Will be doing a farewell Premier on the Magic in May...then stick with my land based casinos who are still offering great deals. It was fun while it lasted. In my opinion they now oversell the Premier and Ultra cruises making the welcome aboard party difficult to get a drink and the casino is so crowded getting a seat at table games or on a machine are next to impossible.

Cheers and happy cruising.

I agree. My Carnival casino offers have been meh this year too. I did a premier cruise this past NYE, and the casino was so crowded and smoky it wasn't as much fun. The premier offer wasn't that good, but I was already booked on that ship/sail date when I received the premier offer, so I switched to the premier offer. It was challenging to even find a slot machine to play because it was so crowded. I've cruised on Carnival 33 times and only 3 times on Holland America, but HAL is sending me better casino offers than Carnival. I booked an eastern Caribbean 7 night cruise (balcony cabin) on HAL yesterday for $390 pp with $500 casino cash coming on board along with priority embarkation/debarkation, free drinks while playing, a free entry to the slot tournament, and free cocktail party. And the HAL ship has a non-smoking casino and offers hot food for room service :D. That's better perks than my Carnival offers even with being platinum.

(This post is not about "Bounce Back" offers, which is the letter slid under your door on the last night of the cruise.)

Post here about All VIFP casino offers - -

Elite, Ultra, Premier, Premier Getaway, Select, Pack & Play, and all Other VIFP Casino offers

https://www.carnival.com/cruise-deals/vifp-club.aspx

The reason for this thread ... The casino staff is certainly hush-hush about what the offers are and what it takes to get them. Or, maybe there are better offers that people aren't getting or don't know about or would be close to getting with a slight change in their casino play. Let's all share our knowledge with each other.

Second reason ... Sometimes we may miss seeing an offer in the VIFP member deals. So, by the time it's noticed, the rates have gone up or the casino offer cabins are sold out. There is a thread for AARP gift cards where folks notify each other when they're available so if you're subscribed to that thread you get a heads up. I'm hoping when casino offers come up everyone will all post to this thread that new offers are available so we can go check our offers (you will need to subscribe to this thread to get the updated posts > in Thread tools at upper right corner of thread ). Also, I'm hoping people will post details on what offers they are seeing.

I haven’t sailed Carnival in a long time but headed out next week with them. How do you get casino offers? I have sailed 2x and only have 14 pts., but we love the casinos on the ships and I’m not familiar with this at all. Can you enlighten me?

I understand that to a person who knows nothing about the casino offers will post, "How do I get these casino Offers?".

So here goes.

Most of the offers come to us after devoting 1) lots of money played in the casinos, and 2) lots of time playing in the casinos.

No to say that Carnival doesn't send out offers to new players, but most of these come after you have played a lot in the casino and always give them your S&S card so you can be tracked how much you bet, and how much time you play.

Now you notice I did not say "How much you lose". That can be part of it, but it is more a combination of time and wager size to get these offers.

DANG!! You guys are lucky!! I have ZILCH in the way of casino offers.

Now, I literally JUST got home from my cruise 5 days ago...so I don't know how long it might take to get any offers based on my casino play (which wasn't HUGE....but I probably gambled 90 min or so all 5 days).

Quick question for all of you with Carnival Casino booking experience: I received a Casino Premier Offer (PC5) which I was able to call my PVP and have the Premier and the Cash applied to a cruise that I already had booked. However, the offer still shows in my VIFP page. Did I do something wrong? Can I book a second Premier with the same cash given? Should I call my PVP and follow up? I was truly surprised by this offer as I only have three Carnival sailings so under my belt, although I do spend plenty of time in the casino. Any words of advice are appreciated. I am happy to have this offer and I don't want to show up to check in and find out I am not getting what I expect. TIA!!! :-)

You can book more than 1 cruise under a premier cruise offer. The offer doesn't usually disappear from your offers online until the offer expires. So no worries. You didn't do anything wrong. It's a good idea to take your snail mail offer with you on your cruise if the offer includes cruise cash to pick up on the ship. The cruise cash amount doesn't usually show in your online offer, but Carnival usually mails you the same offer in snail mail 2 weeks or so after you see the offer online.

Excellent news! And would I get the same amount of Casino Cash for both?

Thanks!

You can email casino to make sure that it’s correct, but it’s probably still there because it hasn’t expired yet and you can book multiple times. Good luck!

Yes. If your premier offer includes casino cash, you would get that casino cash onboard for each premier cruise you book under the premier offer.

I did indeed call my PVP and she confirmed that I can book the offer up to 20 times and receive the same amount of cash offered on all 20 cruises. So of course I had to book one while I had her on the phone!!

Thanks everyone for the help!

Our current offers are,,,,O6R, O1V, PTC!

For those who know about the Premier Club, ignore the rest of my comments, for those who don't know,,,

To get invited into the Premier Club, you gotta get 7500 pts on a Carnival cruise.

To get invited to an ultra cruise, you gotta earn 7500 pts on a Premier cruise during the times the casino club stipulates.

To get invited into the elite, well you gotta be a whale!-)

I get abt. 10-14,000 pts on a 7 day cruise. For that amount, we get the Premier benes.,,,

We average about $1000. saved for 2 in a balcony cabin,

Premier check in(sort a like Platinum),

Free drinks in the casino while playing for you and 1 guest,

Premier drawings during the cruise,

On day one after muster, there's a get together of Premier members with free drink/snacks for about 90 mins. along with a gift bag in our cabin.

During the cruise, we'll get in our cabin a bottle of champagne, chocolate strawberries, cookies, some gifts(beach towels, carnival tote bags, etc.) dinner once during the cruise in the steak house with a bottle of wine.

Usually a little casino cash.

Talking to those in the club who get higher points, they get the Chef's table.

I'm sure I left some stuff out, but that's most of it!

We're also members of RCL's casino club (Club Royale)! You get more with RCL, balconies for just port fees and taxes, but its harder to get in the club, (invite only) and stay in (1 low gamble cruise and you're out)!

Carnival and NCL are easier to stay in the casino club!

I have two offers

1) P8V - Premier Getaway Cruises: Up to 40% off with Casino Rates plus Casino Cash. The casino cash is $100.

2) PTC - Casino Cash + Casino Rates. Casino cash is $50.

I actually used the PTC today. I was booked Early Saver and was able to upgrade from Interior to Oceanview for $19 using the casino rate. I wasn't able to price match my interior because my category (4G) was sold out. My only option was to upgrade, which was fine.

I am a low roller, but spend A LOT of time in the casino. I generally bet minimum on slots, unless of course I'm winning. The last cruise I had a little over 2000 points. I usually am closer to 1500. Just to give an idea of my gambling style.

To expand even more on that excellent answer and get into the specifics . . .

Put your card in the slot machine every single time and leave it in there while you are playing. Hand your card to the table dealers every single time you start playing (not only when you are getting chips!!)

SLOTS

You get 1 point for each $2.50 you have played through the machine.

500 points = $1250 played through, 1000 points = $2500 played through, 1500 points = $3750 played through, etc, etc

For example, if you put in $20 and lose it all, you will get 8 points. If you win $50 on that initial $20 and keep playing the initial 20 plus the 50 in winnings through the machine, then you will get 28 points. OR - ever how many points, based on ever how long all that money lasts if you keep getting small winnings along the way and keep playing them. If you hit it big and won $1000 on that initial 20 and kept playing it through the different slot machines in the casino over the course of your cruise, you would get 408 points (or more including small winnings along the way). Even though you actually only ever put in $20 of your own money.

You need 500 points for $5 back given as slot play, 1000 points for $10 back - both automatic on the machine. You need 1500 points on a 7-day cruise to get the first on-board comp which is the Drinks on Us card. More points after that will get more notice and more comps like deliveries to the room, steakhouse, spa, etc. 5000 points will give you DOU card right from the first day of your next cruise as well.

TABLES

It's all about average bet x time played. They don't rate it as "points" like are earned on slot machines, but to keep it simple I am going to use "points" to make my comparison. I think tables/games with higher odds (worse for you) will earn more "points" ?? Also, I think faster games may earn more points (for example, if roulette plays more spins per hour than blackjack plays hands played per hour) ?? But not sure, this is my guessing. The information on table games is not readily available online. I think you need approx 200 points for DOU card on table games, but I am NOT sure about this. IF this is accurate then .....

$10 per hand x 20 hours = 200

$20 per hand x 10 hours = 200

$25 per hand x 8 hours = 200

$50 per hand x 4 hours = 200

$100 per hand x 2 hours = 200

(per hand would be whatever they rate as your "average bet" whether thats betting $10 hand of blackjack, $10 in chips on roulette, $10 on craps table, etc)

NOTE: your casino "points" have nothing to do with the sailing days you have with Carnival. For example, if you have sailed 2 cruises each 7 days you will have 14 VIFP Points, or if you sail 4 cruises of 7 days you will have 28 VIFP points (and you will be Gold rated). https://www.carnival.com/loyalty/benefits.aspx

Angela,

Thank you so much for the info. I am a slots only player and on my last cruise I finished at a little over 9000 points (4 day cruise).

I am sailing in July next and did not know that I would automatically get the DOU card. Do I just ask the host for it?
