On a 7 day cruise, is there one or two formal nights?

Thanks in advance from the people who are packing for our trip in 2 days

There are 2 but remember you only have to get as dressed up as you please!

The elegant nights will usually be your 2nd night on the ship and the next to the last night on the ship.

There are two Elegant Nights ... but there's no reason to feel the need to dress formally ... most don't.

Enjoy your cruise! :D

I have never dressed formally on a cruise (formally like what you wear to prom or groom at wedding) however it is fun to "dress up"... whatever that means. Put on a clean T shirt and shave, perhaps.

For the "cruise elegant" nights (2 on a 7 day cruise) we don't necessarily dress up but do dress nicely.

I wear black slacks, a sparklie top and strappy sandles. Husband wears khakie slacks, a button down collar shirt and loafers - no jacket or tie.

On regular nights we wear the same slacks or good jeans, me with a nice top and husband with a golf shirt.

We find that way we're dressed about average - some dressier and some less but we're comfortable.
