I have also read this is available for rent, although I have not yet found any pricing, nor whether it make a difference which rental (side of island) is best for this. Thanks for any info!

Thank you for the price info ~ That is different than the last pricing I could find. Do you know which water sports booth/side of island is better? And, do you know what can we use for payment--CC, S&S, cash?

They rent them at the Watersports shack halfway down the beach, near the Pirate Bar.  You will see an area of beach roped off for swimming closer to the tender pier then a non roped off area followed by another roped off area.  The Hobie Cats, paddle boats and 3 wheel float things are rented at the transition from scrub to beach in the middle of the non roped off area.  I am not sure if it is S&S or cash, but my best guess would be S&S card, as that is how HAL does it.  (I have rented one on a HAL cruise but not a Carnival cruise.)

HAL's pricing is as follows could be different for a Carnival Cruise but I could not find a price list from Carnival:

Hobie Cat - $50/hr

Sunfish - $40/hr

Kayak - Single $25/hr

               Double - $50/hr

3 wheel water Bike - Single $25/hr

                                     Double $50/hr

Paddle Boat - Double $40/hr

                         Quad $ 50/hr

Locker Rental $5
