Johnny Rockets for Breakfast

Recommended Posts

I just read that breakfast is free at Johnny Rockets. Is that true? If so, what is the breakfast menu there?

True, but breakfast at JR is only offered on Oasis class ships.

Looks like you are sailing on Liberty. Unfortunately Johnny Rockets on Liberty does not offer breakfast.

We enjoyed it. Much calmer than the Buffet.

JR for breakfast on the Boardwalk is really peaceful.

Agree, and the country potatoes are unique to JR.

I see JR doesn't offer grits as a side. Does anyone know if any of the breakfast places have grits?

WJ does for sure. Haven’t done breakfast in the MDR for a while but I’m pretty sure they do as well.

Grits are one of the hangups my husband has about going to JR for breakfast. My only suggestion to him was that, after we ordered, he could run over to the WJ and get a bowl and bring it back. Otherwise, we'll have to suffer through the crowd in the WJ.

That's a long way to go for some grits: Deck 6 to Deck 16 and back.

Yes it is! But he's a good ole country southern boy who is crazy about grits. It's his decision but he hates crowds and loves grits. That's the only way I can see to get around it.

Could ya’ll just go get the grits after eating at JR’s? Sort of like dessert. 😃

I just asked him and his response was "That's like eating a steak first and then going somewhere else to eat your potato." :D ;p;p

But, seriously, he likes to mix his eggs, grits, and sausage together to make some sort of weird concoction. So that's a no go. My guess is he'll cave one way or the other. Brave the crowd or go without. Gotta love my country man!

Can anyone tell me if the sausage or bacon (for breakfast) or the bacon for Clubs and BLT's are only pork, or do they offer turkey or beef options? Thanks.

The menu doesn't show what meat the sausage or bacon is made of.

Are you saying they have beef, turkey and veggie options for the sausage/bacon?

Thanks.

It does. Look at the description under patty and eggs.

Will be on Allure in October - how late is breakfast served at JR's?
