I really enjoyed your photos! We will have an 8.5 hour layover in SIN airport in August, and we planned on spending some time in the city. I know that there are free tours offered from the airport solely for people with layovers over 6+ hours, have you heard of/done these? We were going to do the one to the Marina Bay Sands. The other option would be to do it on our own, leave the airport and then return on our own volition. Would you recommend doing this? We really want to see the Marina Bay Sands/Gardens By the Bay, so will it be an option for us? We really want to maximize our time here with our layover.

I've not done those tours.

 

Just allow yourself time to get back and forth to the airport because traffic can get bad.

 

You easily could get over to Marina Bay Sands and Gardens via taxi so that could be an option to consider.

Great photos.:) We will be visiting Singapore this coming year for a few days prior to a cruise so after viewing your photos we are even more excited. Thanks for sharing and posting them.
