Powersboyee2 Posted April 6, 2018 #601 Share Posted April 6, 2018 This is where you are wrong. We cruise about 10 times a year - we stay in regular balconies. Rarely, if ever, do excursions, never do specialty dining, don't do the casino except for $20 each, don't buy pictures. The only thing we do is buy the beverage package as it is worth it for us. I would rather cruise a ton of time a year rather than spend money on an expensive suite or specialty dining and such. [emoji849] And we cruise many times a year, sometimes in suites, sometimes in balcony, sometimes in JS. We buy the drink package, internet, specialty dining, and sometimes excursions. Not quite sure how anyone can say your C&A status can categorize people into how much they spend onboard. Whether that be a lot or a little. Your amount of money has a lot more to do with that. BEENSAILING Posted April 6, 2018 #602 Share Posted April 6, 2018 On Enchantment. We are both D+. In the stateroom on the C and A benefits - Internet benefit 2 days of free SURF. (2 - 24 consecutive hours from time of purchase). Or $38.98 off any internet package purchase. (The two days does not have to be 48 consecutive hours.) LorraineP Posted April 6, 2018 #603 Share Posted April 6, 2018 Great to hear. Let’s hope they keep it that way. Good to know that RCCL listens to their loyal cruisers.

Yes, many of those boilerplate letters have not been updated with current info which would have the discount at $46 (45.98). Though someone on Symphony just posted a letter and it listed the benefit at $54+ - not sure what's going on there.

Always have gotten the drink package since they were introduced! Well worth it. We are traveling with several friends on the 8 night Freedom, none of which are top tier, so we will probably not see the lounge all that often, if at all. I do plan on a few stops in the CL just to use the concierge for a few things we like. When we hop on Jewel it might be a little different, as we are only in a JS and not traveling with anyone else. We will make a short appearance in the DL if it’s not over crowded. Maybe 730 until dinner. Our last cruise was in December and Wisconsin winter is brutally long. We’ve had snow 3 of the last 4 days up here in Green Bay. Bring on next week already!! Flying down thrs.

Rare L454S Posted April 7, 2018 #616 Share Posted April 7, 2018 "Update on the Internet rumors. I have a friend who left on a Transatlantic on the 5th I’d April. Her first message was she still had the 48 hours of internet. Today I got a note that said there had been a glitch in the system and the new rules didn’t get applied but they should have been percentages! She added no more nicer amenities like lotion or nicer toiletries, either. " This was just posted in the Grandeur 4/14 Roll Call thread.

The "nicer amenities" require 340+ points and, even then, are by request. Did she have the 340+ points and, if so, did she request the amenities from her cabin attendant? We do that. We use my coupons early on. Then on Thursday with 3 days left, the package to the end of the sailings is zero, using hubby’s coupon.
