Lord , have mercy! OK, someone who isn't paying through the snout for internet, research if the notes for song sung blue, and whoa, whoa, whoa, Delilah is the same. :loudcry:

Weeping like a willow, but it’s tears of joy and laughter. You are definitely not cruising solo, having recklessly invited this peanut gallery along on your voyage.

Poor Maria has no idea what she’s up against. [emoji57]

Peanut Gallery, Rogue's galley, who's to judge?

Wow....small world. Robertson Drugs used to deliver to Valley View numerous times a day. Can't remember the guy who used to deliver the meds, but we all knew him very well!

Conway!

I've pretty much decided I'm going back to the Steakhouse for dinner. Why not splurge a little, right? I might even go twice...;)

RFLOL!! Cruise Bestie I'm side eyeing Maria too. Maria don't make me board that ship at the 1st stop.

Glad you decided to do the review. Loving it as usual.

Hey, married lady! I thought of you on my Rhapsody cruise when we went to the Mexican restaurant on the Boardwalk. I told Rhonda and Heather the story of you spotting me from your balcony and joining me. On that ship, they have a deal where for the price of a Margarita, you get a Margarita plus snacks. The guacamole was TO DIE FOR!:hearteyes:

I just left Seaside the day you got on. It sounds like we had the same drink package (covered everything that doesn't have a star next to it on the menu) and my package did NOT include mini-bar. All we got out of there were two bottles of water, so it wasn't too expensive; but given the lack of clear documentation on the packages, someone could make and expensive mistake.

I'm enjoying reading the review, it's helping me cope with the PCD!

Yes, the basic package doesn't cover the starred items. You could have gotten your water from a bar, though and it would have been covered. That, and sodas, etc. Nothing from the minibar, though, even though it's the same items.

The deluxe package did cover the minibar, but that was back in 2015, so, I don't know about now.

Just booked this cruise for September. Thank you for the fabulous review so far and wonderful photos!! We have the Drinks On Us package included with our booking and we're happy about that :) since we are pop, juice & water drinkers. LOL Thank you so much for all the laughs, look forward to more smiles as the week goes on. Have fun!

PS. Hubby has a couple questions. Any idea what is on deck 4? We are booked in OV on Deck 5 so we are curious if it is the crew cabins

? Also, any idea how many slots machines are in the casino and is it a busy place? Thanx a bunch ;)

Smooth Sailing,

DonnaF :D

The medical center is on deck 4 and yes, probably crew cabins, although they're not listed. I'll check out the casino tonight, I like the video poker, although if I skip that, I could go back to Butcher's cut again...

Thanks for all the info! Your review is the most helpful thing I’ve read. We get on the Seaside soon and I have a question...If I don’t buy a drink package, does it look like a Coke or Pepsi can be purchased at meals? Also, approximately what do they cost?

Yes, you can certainly buy a can of Coke, I don't think they have Pepsi products, though. I drink Diet Coke at home, they have Coke Zero here, basically the same. I can post the soft drink menu later.

I want to let everyone know how much I appreciate the kind words. I'm really only quoting the people who have questions, but, I'm reading every one of your comments. It helps to know that someone is actually reading this. :D:D

So, hello everyone! I survived Jamaica!! Were you worried about me?

So, Yesterday, this was my view at breakfast.

I've got my drinking shirt on. :')

IMG_0835-M.jpg

That's what I do. I drink and I know things. :')

On my way out. I couldn't resist the crystal staircase.

Multiple crystal staircases.

Security on the way off the ship.

IMG_0843-M.jpg

A hymen detector? :o

And, I thought the scanners at the airport were intrusive.

A glorious day in Ocho Rios.

IMG_0844-M.jpg

Hmmm, what's this? I wonder if they missed the ship in Miami?

IMG_0845-M.jpg

The dashboard of my ride to Jewel's Dunn River Beach Club, I asked the driver if he spoke Japanese? He didn't.

I figured I'd better take pictures of the resort while I still knew how to operate my camera.

IMG_0848-M.jpg

Here I am, stepping gingerly into the water.

IMG_0850-M.jpg

Hey, the skin tone is accurate! ;p

Sorry, lady, I swear I was taking a picture of the pool, not you adjusting your bikini bottom.

That first drink was at 10:30am, by the way.

At 11, they started serving lunch. I had the jerk chicken. Despite its' name, it was quite good.

IMG_0881-M.jpg

There were some beasties about.

IMG_0885-M.jpg

I wonder if they know how easy they have it, laying around all day in Jamaica.

IMG_0886-M.jpg

Unlike my own 2 cats at home, working so hard all day.

That was Nutmeg, this is Bindi.

Thanks! I do love to drink my Coke Zero but at $12. a day... it might be time for me to cut back! I’d appreciate the price per can so I can make my decision. You’re the best! Really enjoying your blog/info!

After lunch, I spotted this smaller pool with a swim up bar and I knew I had found my spot.

IMG_0879-M.jpg

IMG_0887-M.jpg

I spent the rest of the day there, paddling around on a floating mat.

IMG_0888-M.jpg

Even after lunch, it still wasn't crowded. I spoke to a few people who were staying at the resort and they all loved it.

IMG_0889-M.jpg

My last drink of the day was a Bob Marley.

IMG_0891-M.jpg

On the way out, I think they were having a rum tasting. It's probably just as well I missed that.

When I had arrived at the resort, the concierge asked what time I wanted to leave. All aboard was 4:30, so, I said 3.

He said, that's perfect, I have 2 other guests returning to the ship then.

As I was waiting for the taxi back to the ship, I heard a voice call out, You're blogging on Cruise Critic!

Sigh, fans everywhere. I just can't escape them, damn papparazzi. ;p

Heavy is the head that wears the crown. ;p

It was two ladies from New York, they're sailing in the Yacht Club.

They were very nice, we exchanged witty banter all the way back to the ship.

At least I thought we did. Upon my return, I found this picture. Apparently, I passed out cold and my new friends borrowed my camera. :')

Walking back to the ship, I kept repeating to myself, don't fall in the water, don't fall in the water.

What a beauty she is.

IMG_0899-M.jpg

They probably heard there were some drunks getting off a taxi.

IMG_0901-M.jpg

Goodbye, Jamaica.

IMG_0902-M.jpg

What a wide rear end she has. Funny, I heard that all day at the resort.

And, completing our circumnavigation of the chocolate display...IMG_0921-M.jpg

On my way out, I spotted this display, I thought it was cute.

IMG_0922-M.jpg

You know how bars will have peanuts or Chex mix, something to nibble on?

Check out what the Champagne Bar has!

IMG_0923-M.jpg

Oh, I forgot to mention, upon my return, I took a three hour nap, I'm not ashamed to admit it.

When I got up, I decided to go see a show for the first time. It was called The Dream, with a magic theme.

It was the usual MSC dancing, acrobats, singing with gorgeous costumes.

Between that, a few drinks and dinner at the buffet, that rounded out my day.

I was too tired to work on my review, but I decided to try working on that Prosecco.

I wanted something to eat with it and I figured you guys would be interested, so, I ordered room service. It took 25 minutes, that seemed pretty good to me.

I had the Seaside Club Sandwich and some cookies.

IMG_0938-M.jpg

IMG_0937-M.jpg

I assumed they'd bring two cookies, they brought

five. They were still warm from the oven.

A better view of the sandwich, it was just meh... I ended up pulling the turkey and bacon out and just eating that. The cookies were great, though.
