Hilton properties Miami

http://www.hamptoninnmiamibrickell.com/ comes recommended from several people on this board. I will be staying there myself because:

  • Multiple convenience locations (restaurants, Walgreens, Publix market, CVS, credit union) are within walking distance
  • Within walking distance of both MetroMover and MetroRail station
  • Very close to Port of Miami

I agree with both recommendations.

If you want a full service hotel the Conrad Hilton is an excellent choice.

The Hampton Inn is also a nice choice and includes a nice breakfast along with complimentary wine and other beverage during a designated time frame each evening.

Those would be my two recommendations in Miami as I don't like their other downtown location.

These two hotels are near Mary Brickell Village and Brickell Centre with lots of restaurants and shopping and also conveniently located to two Publix Grocery Stores and several CVS pharmacies should you need any last minute items.

Closer to the port - with some rooms offering a view of POM - is the Doubletree. Quieter area with not as many dining/nightlife options as the Mary Brickell area (but a fabulous pool area ;) )

Your call!

We stayed at the DoubleTree last month. It was very nice and we had a room with a view of the port. The room was very large, clean and had a balcony overlooking a marina.. When the front desk clerk learned we were celebrating 2 birthdays they gave us a nice bottle of wine.
