Couple last minute questions - Dress code and power strips

Taking the Escape this weekend to Bermuda. I heard somewhere that there are dress codes and well as I could bring a power strip but it cant be a surge protector? Any truth to this stuff?

Gentlemen must wear long pants when dining in Bayamos and Le Bistro specialty dining rooms. Shorts are "acceptable" in all other restaurants for all meals. NCL embraces "dress up or not". Most will dress up a little for dinner and photos. But it is not necessary.

You can bring power strips and extension cords on NCL. Surge protectors are fire hazards on a ship and may not work correctly because ship's power is not exactly the same as land. You can bring a plain power strip or extension cord without a surge protect. The Escape has multiple US and european outlets on the desk across the foot of the bed. And USB ports in the bedside lights.
