Does the Serenade have card slot for lights/ AC?

Recommended Posts

Noticed while downloading the Setsail Pass that they mention using the Seapass to turn on lights and AC. Does the Serenade have this "feature"? What ships do?

No, they started building ships with that feature with the Quantum of the Seas, in 2014.

Plus, you don't need to use a SeaPass card, any card will do, even a cardboard business card.

I am real happy they do not have that feature. its a pain!

If you do sail a ship that has it, just leave a business card or an old gift card in the slot. Not a big deal at all.

Our deck 12 balcony cabin on Freedom had that feature. It was done after Quantum, I think. I'd imagine that all the new cabins have that feature.

We sailed on Freedom almost 12 months ago. On Saturday it would be exactly 12 months.

Our Freedom cabins didn't have that feature.

Freedom predates Quantum by several years.

They put in the new cabins on deck 12 and they now have the slot for your seapass or any type of card

I hadn't considered the new, added cabins on several ships.

Since they are using the Quantum prototype cabins, I'm not surprised that they have the slots.

So, my amended statement would be: only in cabins that have come into existence since 2014.

Is that better, John?
