Don't like tendering? Would you dare do this?

That is just a floating pier taken to the extreme. There are a couple in the cruise business. Skjolden, Norway is one.

Its just a floating pier. This is a way to avoid getting wet in beach areas where otherwise the only way in is to beach the boat. It also lets a deeper draft boat come in to pick up and drop off.

You'd think there would be some kind of railing...to keep people who are too busy with their phones, like this woman, from falling off.
