BON VOYAGE Sea Princess World Cruise 2018

Recommended Posts

AIS Marine Traffic have them entering the Solent , just off Isle of White . ..as I post . Should have an early arrival in Southampton. Guess there will be a lot of supplies waiting for them to load as well as being a big turnaround and changeover day for many passengers.

Cheers, are we losing anyone here or are they doing the full trip.:D

I spoke to a couple of our Batemans Bay friends yesterday, Ray and Loretta (Flakers on Cruise Critic) they embarked Sea Princess yesterday to Sydney. They were on Sapphire with us doing ye olde Baltics in June.

Bon Voyage to all as they head to Cobh.

Before they arrived in Reykjavik, Iceland, they had a nice sunrise:

I just found this webcam capture I saved of them arriving in Reykjavik, Iceland yesterday:

Apparently they had a cold day there!

Has anyone been to Reykjavik, Iceland before?? :)

Reading Jo and Garrys blogs, they got ripped off badly at Francescos Winery on their Salerno visit. $200 bucks each for a bite of lunch and glass of wine. You have watch some of these private tour operators. Good the winery bosses got smashed on Tripadvisor.

They tried to charge an Aussie pax on the tour $50 for a bowl of plain Spag, because they were too crook to eat the offered lunch and wine. Rogues !!!

Hats off to Garry/Jo for intervening re the exorbitant charge for a bowl of plain spaget for the sick lady.

Thanks Stu,

Yes a fascinating place to visit, we did the Golden circle and it takes in some of the main landmarks/ tourist sites. We didn't go to the Blue Lagoon though as time was tight and we wanted time in the capital as well.
